Board Establishes Endowment Fund
Looking to the future financial stability of our Unity Spiritual Center, the Board of Trustees has established a New Endowment Fund and a Planned Giving Program to help ensure permanent financial support for the annual operation of our Center.
Our new Endowment will be managed by the Oregon Community Foundation, the largest public foundation in Oregon with over $2 Billion in investments. Earnings from our Endowment will be used for this yearly support.
The Endowment Fund will grow through donations of Planned Gifts, especially from wills, life income trusts, and other forms of planned giving, including life insurance, gifts from pensions, and from IRAs
To encourage such giving, a Legacy Circle has been formed to honor those who include our Spiritual Center in their contributions with a planned gift.
If you have already included Unity in your will, you are invited to become a member of the Legacy Circle, which will meet periodically to hear speakers, form special study groups, and attend seminars. Special recognition will include inclusion in our newsletter, an inscription on the Legacy Circle Plaque in the Lobby, and a special recognition pin.
Lifetime Income is now also available for you and, if desired, a second person, by setting up a trust or an annuity with Unity. A significant tax deduction flows from establishing one of these funds.
